What ceramic coating does.

Ceramic coating is a hand-applied liquid polymer that bonds to clear coat. It adds gloss and changes how water behaves on the finish.

A coating is not a substitute for paint-protection film, and it does not make paint scratch-proof. It is finish care with real maintenance behind it.

Keep the finish looking sharp

The coating helps bring out depth and gloss in the paint while adding a protective buffer against sun exposure and everyday environmental residue.

Water beads instead of sitting

Its hydrophobic surface encourages water to bead and roll away, which can make routine washing and drying easier.

Keep up the care

Tree sap, bird droppings, bugs, and grime should still be removed promptly. A coating supports regular care; it does not replace it.

Care after coating.

Bravada’s coating options start at two to three years of coverage, with longer-term options at five years and beyond. Proper maintenance helps preserve coating performance over time.

  • Wash the vehicle routinely, generally every one to two weeks.
  • Avoid automatic car washes that use brushes against the finish.
  • Dry standing water when possible to reduce water spotting.
  • Arrange an annual coating maintenance check with the shop.
  • Remove bird droppings, tree sap, and bug residue as soon as practical.

Questions worth asking.

Is ceramic coating scratch-proof?

No. Ceramic coating should not be described as scratch-proof or as a substitute for physical-impact protection. Ask Bravada which option fits the condition of your paint and how you use the vehicle.

Does ceramic coating eliminate the need to wash my vehicle?

No. A coating may change how the finish is maintained, but it does not remove the need for regular washing and care. Bravada can explain the maintenance requirements for the product it recommends.
